Alphacool Apex VPP Pump

The Alphacool Apex VPP is a powerful pump that is compatible with the most popular D5/VPP tops and reservoirs. Via the 4-pin fan connector, the speed of the pump can be read and controlled via PWM signal. The Apex VPP is supplied with power via the SATA connector.

Features

Alphacool's Apex VPP doesn't use a spherical bearing and relies on a ceramic axle. The motor's coils have been moved from the inside to the outside. These changes make the pump fundamentally more stable and smoother running, significantly reducing any vibrations that arise. Another positive side effect is that power consumption has been almost halved as a result.

Power Supply

Compared to Alphacool's Eispumpe, the power is not supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector. Instead, the Apex VPP pump is connected to the power supply using a SATA connector.

Control

The Apex VPP pump has a 4-pin fan connector that connects to the motherboard or an external controller. This allows you to control the speed range of the pump via PWM and read out the RPM signal.
