Alphacool Leak Testing Tool and Pump

Alphacool Leak Testing Tool and Pump

Alphacool Leak Testing Tool

After completing the water circuit, the final step is typically to fill the system. However, sometimes liquid may leak out due to improperly seated hard tubes, hoses, or incomplete connections. The Alphacool Leak Testing Tool allows you to check the tightness of your water circuit before filling the system.

Construction

The leak testing tool consists of a hand pump, a pressure indicator, and an 11/8mm hose with a G1/4" thread connection at the end. These components are connected using a TEE piece. The hose is 40 cm long and equipped with an anti-kink spring for added durability.

Application

To use the Alphacool Leak Testing Tool, connect it to a free G1/4" connection in the system and operate the hand pump to reach the desired pressure. Keep in mind that different manufacturers may have varying maximum pressure specifications. Once the pressure is set, wait for about 15 to 20 minutes. If the pressure has not dropped during this time, the water circuit is properly sealed.
